True love, after all, feels a little bit like magic IMO. I would love a speculative fiction story that has a thread of romance through the story: In Five Years, End of Story, an updated twist to The Lake House. Big, sweeping stories that really transport readers. Feel free to rip my heart out :)RomCom continues to be having a moment! We have some amazing names on our RomCom list, but I’d love to add some F/F or M/M RomComs to our list. They can have some emotional angst, or can stay lighter in tone, but they all need to have that one unique plot twist that hasn’t quite been done before.
I’m looking for more New Adult contemporary romance to add to our list in both digital-first and print. I’m looking for both deeply emotional (all heat levels) and sexy angst-y. Also, where did all the sports romance go?
I’m always on the hunt for the next great Paranormal Romance series. My first true loves were series by Kresley Cole, Charlaine Harris, JD Ward, Nalini Singh, Karen Marie Moning, Ilona Andrews, the list goes on. I love series with a strong leading female set in really big worlds with high, constantly evolving, stakes book after book.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Jen Bouvier, Editor” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Across the board, a great voice, a high-concept story, and a fast pace are the way to hook me. In YA and up, romantic elements are key for me. The more, the better.
I would love to see more of this for YA and up:
