The year is coming to a close, so we’ve rounded up some of our favorites for 2015!
Today we celebrate our favorite songs.
Check out some our staff’s top picks of the year.
Definitely Adele’s HELLO. Even though it hasn’t been out for very long, I cannot stop playing everywhere I go.
Suzanne Evans: Associate Editor
“The Greatest Show on Earth” by Nightwish, which will be the most glorious 25 minutes of your day.
Becky Conrad-Brown: Publicist for Entangled Select Historical & Scandalous
Beethoven’s 5 Secrets by the Piano Guys
Melissa Montovani: Publicist for Entangled Teen
My favorite song of 2015 is “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten. It has the most repeats on my song repeat tracker thingy (1500+ as of the time of this post), because it’s my go-to writing & editing music. I’m most productive when that song is playing. Other favorites of this year are “Hello” by Adele (because hello? who doesn’t love Adele?) and “Hold Each Other” by Great Big World (it’s very sweet and goes well with chocolate).
Heidi Stryker: Production Editor
I’m resisting the urge to say Hello… actually, nope, I
have to. Adele coming back this year was everything I could have hoped
for. I may or may not be blasting it right now as I write this…
Heather Riccio: Assistant Publisher
I absolutely love “On My Mind” by Ellie Goulding, “Stitches” by Shawn Mendes, and “When We Were Young” by Adele
Riki Cleveland: Publicist Indulgence and Select Contemporary
So many great songs came out this year, so it was super hard for me to pick just one! So, I’m totally breaking the rules and picking two! I was pretty much obsessed with Hozier’s “Take Me to Church,”, and I’m a sucker for Ed Sheeran, so I have to mention his song “Photograph.” Two totally different vibes, but both on repeat for me this year!
Hello by Adele because THAT VOICE. It’s sassy and smooth and soft and strong all at the same time. It’s the kind of voice you can feel soul-deep, and I love it.
Rachel Platten “Fight Song.” A great message and it’s so catchy that it doesn’t matter how many times you hear it you still sing along.
Meredith Johnson: Social Media
I’d have to go with Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon. There’s just something about it…How can you not get up and move every time it comes on? No matter my mood, this song always puts a smile on my face and makes me want to dance. So mission accomplished Walk the Moon…
Adele was clearly the winner for 2015 with Entangled.
