It’s National Get Caught Reading month! Whether you’ve stocked up on your favorite stories from your local library, hit up your favorite bookstore for a new paperback, or have your e-reader stocked, we want you to get caught reading. So here are five books to read—and where you can get caught with them!
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
Violet was meant to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. With threats from both the dragons and the other cadets abound Violet will have to keep her wits about her if she wants to see the next sunrise.
Where should you get caught reading Fourth Wing? At your local library! While Violet might not remain in the Scribe Quadrant, therefore missing out on the library of Basgiath War College, that doesn’t mean you have to deny yourself the joy of reading in a library.
The Moonlight Blade by Tessa Barbosa
Narra Jan is cursed. But with her mother’s life on the line, she will have to return to the city where she was born to face a grueling and bloodthirsty series of challenges meant to decide the next ruler of Tigang. Narra has no weapons, no training, no magic. She’s completely on her own. And she’s ready to show everyone what the unlucky can do.
Where should you get caught reading The Moonlight Blade? A coffee shop! Whether you’re sipping your favorite Starbucks Frappuccino, or trying out one of the coffee orders of one of the characters of the Moonlight Blade, this book is perfect to read just about anywhere—we just love enjoying a coffee with a good book.
Breaking All The Rules by Amy Andrews
Bea Archer has done everything she’s supposed to—worked her ass off, ignored her non-existent personal life, and kept her mouth shut. Well, now she’s over it. She’s ready to take her life back! And for some reason, Officer Austin Cooper finds himself very willing to help after being called to deal with Bea’s flagrant disregard for appropriate clothing outside the local diner (I mean, what’s wrong with bunny slippers?)
Where should you get caught reading Breaking All The Rules? Obviously at your local diner! Grab your best pair of bunny slippers, and your coziest sweatpants, and saddle up with some of the best apple pie you can get. After all—Bea definitely has a point about dressing cozy!
Miles and Miles of You by Jennifer Bonds
Lucy Gonzalez has given up her life of being a personal assistant and is taking her grandmother’s vintage airstream on a killer road trip—and she’s got company. Weirdly? It’s her billionaire ex-boss, Miles Hart, and he’s ready to grovel plenty on this trip.
Want to get caught reading all of the sparks, fireworks, and unexpected smooching in Miles and Miles of You? The break room! Just because Lucy has quit and is travelling with her hot ex-boss, doesn’t mean you can skip work—but you may as well enjoy the ride where you can!
Cherish by Tracy Wolff
The Vampire Court has no king, the Dragon Court has no heart, and the Gargoyle Court has Grace Foster—a teenager in way over her head. It’s the worst possible timing because a threat is brewing just as the Circle is collapsing.
Is it cheating that Cherish doesn’t come out until the end of the month? Perhaps! But we already know where you should get caught reading the Crave series—absolutely everywhere!
