5 Reasons You’ll Love Pushing His Luck with Kira Archer

I’m kind of a homebody, so maybe that is why I enjoyed writing Pushing His Luck so much. It might be one of my favorite books that I’ve written. Of course, I say that about all of them LOL But I really did enjoy the research on this one because it’s a bit of a road trip book. My hero Christopher, is a total adrenaline junkie and my heroine Charley is absolutely not. She’s the epitome of careful, and not just because she has the world’s worst luck, but because she’s a risk assessor and she knows just how dangerous everything is.

And that might be why I love these two so much. Well….here’s a few reasons I love this book and why I think you will too!

1.Chris and Charley. These two are just…*happy sigh* They are opposites in all the best ways. He helps her loosen up a bit and she helps him rein it in when he needs to. They both compliment and enhance each other and watching them fall in love still has me happy swooning!

2.The locations! These two go all over the world, from Costa Rica to Spain and getting to spend a little time in each incredible locale, even if it’s vicariously through Chris and Charley, is just a fantastic time.

3.I have these two doing a lot of things that are on my bucket list that I will probably never actually do:

  • ziplining (I’m afraid of heights);
  • swimming in a jungle lake with a waterfall (sounds amazingly romantic but I’d never swim in water where I can’t see what’s coming at me…although some of those tropical jungle lakes are clear and gorgeous so…we’ll see…);
  • flying in a private plane (come on lotto!);
  • running with the bulls (if you see me running, I’m about to die…both because someone/something is chasing me and also because I’m more potato than human at this point. I am not made for running LOL);
  • and spontaneously grabbing a guitar and shredding it on stage (I can’t sing or play guitar and don’t love crowds or being the center of attention…you’re starting to see why I stay home and write instead of doing this stuff, huh LOL)

4.This is book 4 in the Winning the Billionaire series, so you get a taste of all the previous couples in the series. I really loved revisiting all our previous couples. Shenanigans are still ongoing with this group!

5.The bet! With this series, there is always a bet of some kind going on and this book is no exception! Who’s going to win??? You’ll have to read to find out ;-)

What happens when a girl with the worst luck ever meets a guy with all the luck in the world?

Risk assessor Charley Claybourne has always known her luck pretty much… well, sucks. Getting soaked in lactose-free chocolate milk thanks to a hunkylicious, blue-eyed stranger is bad enough. But discovering that he’s her new billionaire client, and could make or break her career?  Oh hi, it’s me, the icing on top of the world’s most craptastic cake.

Now Charley has to decide if Chris Lachlan, Disney prince made flesh, is a good risk to be CEO of his family’s billion-dollar corporation. You know, if a reckless adrenaline junkie—who eats the unhealthiest food known to man and has dated cartel princesses, thieves, and actual spies—could ever qualify as the “good” kind of risk.

But Charley isn’t immune to the charms of this hot, trouble-seeking billionaire. And as luck would have it, she’ll have to choose between trashing her career… or falling head-over-broken-heels for the biggest risk of her life.

Each title in the Winning the Billionaire series is STANDALONE:

* 69 Million Things I Hate About You
* The Billionaire’s Unexpected Baby
* Scotland or Bust
* Pushing His Luck

USA Today bestselling author Kira Archer resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kiddos, and far too many animals in the house. She tends to laugh at inappropriate moments and break all the rules she gives her kids (but only when they aren’t looking), and would rather be reading a book than doing almost anything else. Most of her non-writing hours are spent hanging with her family and running her kids around because they are busy and she’s the taxi driver. She loves her romances a little playful, a lot sexy, and always with a happily ever after. She also writes historical romances as Michelle McLean.
