Halloween Crunch Bars with Tina Gabrielle

“How Not to Marry A Duke” Coming April 2023!

Hello from Tina Gabrielle. Fall is my second favorite season. (Summer is my first). I like the colorful leaves, decorations, corn mazes, hayrides, and Halloween costumes. There’s so much to do and see during the fall season. I’m a chocolate lover and when it comes to baking treats for both the younger and older members of my family, these crunch bars are popular. They are easy to make, and no baking is required. Hope you give them a try!

Ingredients:

3 cups crispy rice cereal (any brand will do)

1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup peanut butter

½ cup maple syrup

¼ cup butter

Halloween sprinkles

Directions:

Line an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside. Add crispy rice cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients.

Microwave for 25 seconds at a time until melted. Whisk until smooth.

Pour the mixture over the crispy rice cereal and mix until combined.

Pour into the lined baking dish. Decorate with Halloween sprinkles.

Refrigerate for one hour or until firm.

Cut into bars. Enjoy!
