#IShipIt – Rafael and Jane from Jane the Virgin
Okay, I’ll confess – I wasn’t into Jane the Virgin right away. The first time I tried to watch it, I shut it off after a few minutes. Not sure why. But then EVERYONE I knew kept saying how good it was so I gave it another shot. And this time I was completely sucked in! It’s quirky, cute, funny. The only thing that drove me nuts is that Jane married Michael. I mean, I like Michael. He’s a great guy. And I get it. I really do. But I have been on Team Rafael since episode 1. And now that Michael isn’t in the picture, I’ve got my fingers crossed so hard!
Here’s 10 good reasons why these two need to be together:
1. This was their first kiss:
And yes, I know her first kiss with Michael was similar, but this one is soooo much more romantic than having asbestos raining on you from a bullet hole in the roof. Just sayin’.
2. Their chemistry is off the charts. I mean, even a trip to Target is right out of a romance novel.
3. They are always there for each other, no matter what is going on. They are best friends as well as co-parents, no matter what their relationship status. Who wouldn’t want this?
– Just look at these two!
4.He’s such a good dad:
5.Despite their often differing opinions, they work together for the good of their son and always put him first. They are amazing parents together:
6.They have so much fun together, whether they are together or just friends:
7.He is so sweet with her I just can’t stand it *swoon*
8.I mean, who WOULDN’T want a guy who looks at them the way Rafe looks at Jane:
9.They get in the same room and there’s just no denying their connection:
10.And not to state the obvious, but HELLO THERE!
In short, Jane and Rafael need to happen. And stay happening. And happen happily ever after. The End.
