I read my first romance novel when I was about ten years old. I sneakily borrowed it from the library, shocked that my mother hadn’t yanked it away from me and put it back on its shelf. It was the start of an era. I find myself now at the beginning again, but this time I’m at the start of an exciting—and potentially life-changing—adventure. Not only for me but for readers all around the world.

This week marks the birth of a new single-title imprint here at Entangled, a digital-first imprint that gives an edge in the marketplace to our compelling and engaging novels. With a variety of subgenres and levels of sexiness filling our virtual shelves, we have a romance for every reader.

I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this new endeavor. Not only do we have a great 2013 list to bring you all, but we’re dedicated to being bold in our publications, of reaching niche markets and even sub-subgenres that are still in their infancy. That’s what I love about Edge—we are more than just “what’s hot.” We’re about heart, about taking chances on the books we love, and about sharing entertaining and meaningful stories by passionate authors to their just-as-passionate readers.
