Entangled Publishing announces digital first New Adult line launching Summer 2013 with veteran YA editor Karen Grove at the helm. Karen brings more than 28 years of experience working with Young Adult authors at Harcourt and then Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to her new position as Editorial Director.
Here at Entangled, we look at New Adult as a perspective. New Adult is not Young Adult on steroids. And it’s not Adult with young characters. It’s a category of its own. And what defines New Adult, at least here at Entangled, is the unique point of view that an 18- 24 year old brings to the table. It is that perspective that drives the plot, the decision making, the joys and fears, the motivation, and, ultimately, the growth.
To celebrate the launch of our fabulous new line, we would love for you to help us Name-the-Line. We would like to thank NA Alley for hosting this contest, which will run from Dec. 6th through midnight December 15th. Suggestions for the name should be posted in the comments section under the EP announcement at http://naalley.blogspot.com/
The first person (chronologically) to suggest the name we ultimately choose will win a free download of every book published in the New Adult line for a year!
Manuscript submissions are being accepted at newadult-submissions@entangledpublishing.com
