CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: GUILTY PLEASURES

Lock the door. Turn out the lights. Check every room, then tiptoe upstairs. You’re alone now—alone with your naughty little secret. Just the thought of it makes your heart flutter with anticipation. Your palms itch. You can’t breathe. You lick your lips…

…and take that first decadent, sinful bite of Ferrero Rocher.

We all have our secret indulgences: those wicked little pleasures we keep just for ourselves, whether it’s fine imported chocolates, a steamy novel, or a deeply repressed fondness for macramé. (Hey, different people, different strokes.) But what happens when we get caught? What happens when the hottie in 3B catches us sneaking out for a 4am Chunky Monkey fix (yoga pants and all), and things get hot enough to melt that ice cream right out of the carton? Or what about when that adorable wrench jockey at the dealership gets caught indulging his secret love of ikebana? Sexy or sweet, we’d like to know…and it’s up to you to tell us.

Entangled Publishing seeks submissions for a 2012 Guilty Pleasures collection on the Flirt line. Submissions must:

Be 10,000 to 15,000 words in length.
Contain strong romantic elements.
Focus on the main characters’ guilty pleasures / secret indulgences as a key element in their romance.

All heat levels will be accepted, but erotic elements must not be the main focus of the story. We accept any genre that Entangled currently publishes.

Previously published material will not be considered, nor will manuscripts that have already been rejected by Entangled.

Manuscripts that have been chosen for the collection will be released as ebooks in late 2012.

To submit a manuscript for consideration, please send the full manuscript (RTF format) and a one-page query letter briefly describing the premise, heat level, and word count to flirt-submissions(at)entangledpublishing(dot)com. Query letters should be addressed to Adrien-Luc Sanders. Please include “Guilty Pleasures Collection” and your title in the subject line.

Submissions are open until June 30th, 2012 and final decisions will be made by July 31st. Standard Entangled Publishing royalty rates apply.
